Spain

Ooooh how I look forward to the Spanish Grand. Tapas and Cava remind me of a fantastic holiday I had in Barcelona in my 20s.
Barcelona is a city that never sleeps (except for the siesta) and the locals are so friendly. If you get a chance go and enjoy the beach, the parks, the Sagrada Familia and of course the food.
I’m going back one year for the Grand Prix, unfortunately not this one, so we’ll have to make do with some great food instead.
Starters
Here we have a selection of recipes to enjoy with family and friends: Chorizo, Patatas Bravas, Pil Pil Prawns, Gazpacho, Zucchini Bites, and my favourite Ham and Peach Nibbles.
Mains
New up this year, two recipes from Rick Stein; Flamenco Eggs and Merluza A La Gallega, and Rack Of Lamb with Escalivada and Pickled Onions from from Jose Pizarro. Don’t forget the delicious
Seared steak with salbitxada sauce which still evokes great memories when I look at the picture.
Desserts
I’m afraid that there is only one desert, something to work on for next year: Crema Catalana.
